   Helen Adams Keller was born June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia Alabama. When she was 19 months old she had a serious scarlet fever which left her blind and deaf. Her parents looked for someone who could help her and they found Anne Sullivan who helped Helen Keller.
   Helen joined in a school for blind people and Anne in a school for the deaf. Helen learned how to speak and communicate with other people; she learned how to understand other people by touching their mouth and feeling the movement of their lips
   She wrote 12 books and made many lectures around the world and received many prizes for her work, she defended the value of the women and many social politics
She died on June 1, 1968 but her story still in the women museum of Alabama and we can learn with her that every adversity can be overcome
